When registering to use our personalised services, some personal data is collected, such as name, address, contact and communication data such as telephone number and e-mail address. If you are registered with us, you can access content and services that we only offer to registered users. Registered users also have the option of changing or deleting the data provided during registration at any time if required. Rendering of fee-based services

For the provision of fee-based services, we ask for additional data, such as payment details, in order to be able to carry out your order. We store this data in our systems until the legal retention periods have expired.

Commentary function

When users leave comments on our website, the time of their creation and the user name previously chosen by the website visitor are stored in addition to this information. This serves our security, since we can be prosecuted for illegal contents on our web page, even if these were provided by users.

Use of Google Maps

This website uses Google Maps API to display geographical information visually, where required. When using Google Maps, Google also collects, processes and uses data about the use of map functions by visitors. For more information about how Google processes your information, please see Google Privacy Notice. There you can also change your personal data protection settings in the Data Protection Center.

Embedded Social Media

On some of our websites we embed YouTube videos. YouTube, LLC, 901 Cherry Ave., San Bruno, CA 94066, USA is the operator of the corresponding plug-ins. When you visit a page with the YouTube plugin, a connection to Youtube servers is established. Youtube will be informed which pages you visit. If you are logged into your Youtube account, Youtube can assign your surfing behavior to you personally. You can prevent this by logging out of your YouTube account beforehand.

If a YouTube video is started, the provider uses cookies that collect information about user behavior.

Whoever has deactivated the storage of cookies for the Google Ad program will also not have to reckon with such cookies when viewing YouTube videos. Youtube also stores non-personal usage information in other cookies. If you want to prevent this, you must block the saving of cookies in your browser.

Further information about data protection at “YouTube” can be found at the data protection declaration of the provider:

Facebook

Our pages contain plugins from the social network Facebook, 1601 South California Avenue, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA. You can recognize the Facebook plugins by the Facebook logo or the “Like” button on our site. You can find an overview of the Facebook plugins here: http://developers.facebook.com/docs/plugins/. When you visit our sites, the plugin establishes a direct connection between your browser and the Facebook server. Facebook receives the information that you have visited our site with your IP address. If you click the Facebook “Like” button while logged into your Facebook account, you can link the contents of our pages to your Facebook profile. This allows Facebook to associate the visit to our pages with your user account. We would like to point out that, as the provider of the website, we have no knowledge of the content of the data transmitted or of their use by Facebook. You can find further information on this in the facebook data protection declaration at https://de-de.facebook.com/policy.php

If you do not want Facebook to associate your visit to our pages with your Facebook account, please log out of your Facebook account.

Social Media Buttons

Social plugins are used on our websites. You can recognize the plugins by the fact that they are marked with the corresponding logo.

These plugins may be used to send information, which may include personal data, to the service provider and may be used by him. We prevent the unconscious and unwanted collection and transmission of data to the service provider through a 2-click solution. To activate a desired social plugin, it must first be activated by clicking on the corresponding button. Only this activation of the plugin triggers the collection of information and its transmission to the service provider. We do not collect any personal data ourselves using the social plugins or about their use.

We have no influence on which data an activated plugin collects and how it is used by the provider. At present, it must be assumed that a direct connection to the provider’s services will be expanded and that at least the IP address and device-related information will be recorded and used. It is also possible that the service providers try to save cookies on the computer used. Please refer to the data protection information of the respective service provider to find out which specific data is collected and how it is used.

We have integrated the social media buttons of the following companies on our website:

  • Twitter
  • Facebook
  • YouTube

Google AdWords

Our website uses Google Conversion Tracking. If you have reached our website via an ad placed by Google, Google Adwords sets a cookie on your computer. The conversion tracking cookie is set when a user clicks on an ad served by Google. These cookies expire after 30 days and are not used for personal identification. If the user visits certain pages of our website and the cookie has not yet expired, we and Google can see that the user has clicked on the ad and has been redirected to this page. Each Google AdWords customer receives a different cookie. Cookies cannot therefore be traced through the websites of AdWords customers. The information collected using the conversion cookie is used to generate conversion statistics for AdWords customers who have opted for conversion tracking. Customers see the total number of users who clicked on their ad and were redirected to a page with a conversion tracking tag. However, they do not receive any information with which users can be personally identified.

If you do not wish to participate in tracking, you can refuse the setting of a cookie required for this – for example via browser settings that generally deactivate the automatic setting of cookies or set your browser in a way that cookies are blocked by the “googleleadservices.com” domain.

Please note that you may not delete the opt-out cookies as long as you do not want measurement data to be recorded. If you have deleted all your cookies in your browser, you must set the respective opt-out cookie again.

Changes to our data protection regulations

We reserve the right to adapt this data protection declaration so that it always complies with current legal requirements or to implement changes to our services in the data protection declaration, e.g. when introducing new services. The new data protection declaration will then apply for your next visit.
